If yes, then the M365 Core Platform team is just the place for you. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will lead the development of the server health, hardware diagnostics, and repair orchestration system used in the M365 Substrate. This position will involve a balanced set of incubation, design, growth engineering, data-informed decision making, customer focus, partner engagement, and execution skills. This position requires you to work with product leaders and architects across the company, datacenter operations personnel from around the globe, and some of the hardware engineers in the industry.

Coach – Mentor peers on the team to help them to do their work. Model what it means to excel as a product manager.

Responsibilities

Define product and technical vision and strategy for our server health, hardware diagnostics, and repair orchestration system.Develop tooling and systems for managing hardware lifecycle, warranty renewal, predictive failure, AIOps capabilities, break/fix repair coordination, and much more.Establish durable partnerships with other product, engineering, and support teams across Office, Azure, and Finance to drive execution and end-to-end ownership of complex, cross-organization projects.Influence partner teams to get alignment on technology direction and strategy for achieving these goals.Author strategy documents, whitepapers, and presentations for both an executive audience and engineering architectsMentor other peerson the team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years’ experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years’ experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
