Full Time Days, 5:30am - 6:00pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday

20 bed Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit, Nurse: Patient ratio 1:2Level I Trauma CenterMAGNET facilityTrauma Surgical, Renal Transplant, MSOF patients, CRRT, Vent-patients and all forms of life supportRN average length of service 9 ½ yearsThe department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skillsSelf-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growthRobust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership teamHigh acuity, high volume department
EducationH.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req AndOther successful completion of training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis within 90 days of hire Req
Experience6 Months in dialysis, phlebotomy or CNA Req
Licenses and CertificationsCCHT - Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician 18 Months Req AndBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req AndCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 Days Req
SkillsBasic computer competency to include knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Work and Excel; Excellent verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills; Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English instructions, safety rules and guidelines.
