Network Engineer III (U.S. Citizen)
NOTE :
This position is for our forthcoming long-term federal project.

Daily ResponsibilitiesDesign, test, upgrade and integrate new or existing information networks such as LAN, WLAN, WAN, VoIP, intranets, extranets, and other communications networks in accordance with the organization’s business requirements.Document all aspects of the engineering process as it relates to build and configuration, testing, and deployment of networks.Coordinate changes such as implementation of new networks, upgrades or version increments to existing networks with network administrators and stakeholders.Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard new and existing networks.Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.Coordinate with architecture, evaluates new and emerging network technologies, and make recommendations for selection of these products.Assist network administrators with complex troubleshooting issues and coordinate vendor engagements to assist in troubleshooting efforts.May provide day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed networks in lab or production environments.Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments
Requirements
Must of a U.S. Citizen (no dual status), as mandated by the government client.Must be local to the San Antonio TX area (no convenience travel)Must have an active public trust investigation.Must have the following certification: IAT II: IAW Section 3.0 Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement, CE: Professional level certificate for supported technology.6+ years of demonstrated experience in the above referenced responsibilities in a federal government project / environment.BS/BA degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.
