Director of Marketing

Location:

Irvine, CA /hybrid

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy and accelerate growth. This is a hands-on role where you will own and execute key marketing functions across brand development, product marketing, growth marketing, and communications. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Marketing and Trade Shows, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of the Defense industry.

Required Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across a variety of channels to drive engagement and conversions

Engage and inspire internal and external stakeholders to position DZYNE as a leader in bringing the solutions to drive our Defense customers’ mission around the world

Contribute to overall business strategy, shaping marketing and partnership objectives and priorities to support company growth

Oversee all marketing functions including product marketing, growth marketing, communications, and identify additional marketing needs to build capacities

Manage the company’s annual trade show schedule, planning and supporting all activities surrounding the logistics of each one. Analyze marketing data and metrics to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement. Manage the marketing budget effectively and allocate resources to maximize ROI

Play a crucial role in advising and influencing senior leaders on marketing strategy, planning, and execution

Create compelling messaging and positioning to establish authority and credibility while differentiating from the competition, clearly aligning our capabilities and expertise to key needs of the customer

Manage the core team for marketing, trade shows, branding and graphic design

Education and Related Experience:

BA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline.

10+ years of relevant marketing and communications experience, with specific experience developing marketing campaigns and programs focused on U.S. government contract pursuits

Government contracting, government services or defense industry experience required

Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to take industry jargon and translate into mission-driven language

Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion in the handling of sensitive business matters

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, including the executive suite

An acute sense of ownership and accountability, as well as the ability to influence and persuade internal and external partners

Proven ability to develop solid working relationships in a matrix environment; strong problem solving and collaborating skills at all levels of the organization

Security Clearance:

It is an essential requirement for the person in this role to be a US person.

Salary:

$180,000-$225,000

Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
