It starts with our people, which is why we need a strategic Regional Marketing Manager – US, West Region who can join a growing marcomms function, tasked with setting ourselves apart from competitors in the fast-moving legal industry. To be strong globally, the strength of our local markets is key. You will collaborate across our St. Louis, Kansas City, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles/Santa Monica, Irvine, San Francisco and Seattle offices to drive brand awareness and client engagement, enhance our external profile and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage annual regional marketing plans, working with local Office Managing Partners, the Communications team and the wider Marketing and Business Development function to develop integrated plans to build external profile and engage clients in local markets.

Foster strong working relationships with partners and other key stakeholders within these regional offices to advance marketing plans which support the success of the firm’s global strategy and business development efforts.

Identify and facilitate promotional opportunities, including regional distinction and recognition submissions, public speaking, events, sponsorships, and other marketing efforts.

Identify opportunities with professional and trade organizations, industry associations and educational institutions that are aligned with local office priorities; cultivate regional networking and referral sources that can contribute to business growth.

Manage BCLP regional client events, seminars (including CLE), sponsorships and conferences in coordination with the Events and Business Development teams.

Develop and maintain office marketing collateral and content for website.

Draft and source content for web postings and social media posts related to regional office news in coordination with the Communications team.

Work with Office Managing Partners to support community engagement efforts with key non-profit and civic organizations.

Collaborate with Communications team on PR opportunities around market-specific thought leadership, client news, events and media-sponsored awards.

Manage office budgets.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Strong presentation and communications skills with emphasis on writing and editing.

Proven project management skills.

Ability to organize and manage large amounts of data, hardcopy and electronic, details, plans, and give direction to individuals to accomplish goals.

Ability to deal professionally with all internal and external clients on all levels.

Ability to work under pressure and with changing work priorities.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to work varying hours as needed.

Requires the ability to regularly report to work on the days and times scheduled.

Ability to travel as required.

BenefitsBCLP offers eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance coverage, life insurance, and retirement plans. We also provide eligible employees flexible time off plans including paid Parental leave, Paid Time Off (PTO), and paid holidays. Pursuant to the California and Colorado pay transparency laws, BCLP is posting a reasonable estimate of a compensation range for this position. At the time of posting, the estimated California range is $120,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the level of relevant experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, market data, and other job related factors permitted by law. The range is based on a full-time work schedule. Additional compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.
