Overview
Job PurposeThe TEM-Souring Analyst will lead telecom and colocation purchasing for North and South America. This includes completing RFQs, cost analysis, KMZ reviews, contract negotiations, inventory management, and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, honest, and proactive individual with excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and business acumen.The role includes but not limited to, working directly with our engineering teams to determine requirements and initiate bids with multiple vendors to determine the best solution and pricing. Managing the full lifecycle: quoting, ordering, implementation, and inventory record creation.
Provide subject matter expertise in projects.ResponsibilitiesInitiate and track vendor bids and perform cost and technical analysisExpanding and maintaining a large diverse network of telecom and datacenter suppliersReview contracts and sales order formsManage negotiations, disputes, and escalationsReviewing KMZ/KML filesAnalyze Telecom Data to identify cost savings and benchmark ratesStay current on Telecom industry trendsProvide subject matter expertise on projectsPrepare telecom reportingKnowledge and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience: Previous experience in telecom sourcing, procurement, networking, or a related field.Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools, excellent negotiation skills, and knowledge of telecom industry standards and practices.Understanding of ServiceNow is preferableScheduleThis role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
