135+ person marketing team, this role will directly lead a team of 5 (paid media and email marketers)
What Winning Looks Like:
Develop performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention across paid advertising, and email marketing
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders, and making data-driven recommendations for optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align business goals with customer insights and performance of your team’s marketing initiatives
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and stay ahead of competitors
Lead and mentor a team of performance marketing strategists (paid media specialists and email marketers) by providing coaching, support, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth and achieve team objectives
Ability to provide sound rationale for your recommendations that considers desired outcomes and fiscal implications
Skills Needed to Win:
6+ years of performance marketing experience, with a focus on paid advertising/paid media (paid display, paid search, paid social, PPC/Pay-Per-Click, programmatic), email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), and/or a combination of experience, ideally in a B2C space
2+ years of leadership experience coaching a team member on how to level up foundational skills that help drive great customer connections
Experience working with marketing tools such as: Google Analytics/GA, Google Ads/Adwords, SEMrush, Klayvio, Google Data Studio, Ahrefs, Marketo, or similar
Demonstrated success in driving customer acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth through performance marketing channels
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze campaign performance data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions for optimization
Up to date with the latest marketing trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies
E-commerce experience is preferred with major platforms such as BigCommerce, Shopify, Adobe, or Wix, but is not required
Lead gen/customer acquisition experience is preferred, but not required
$100,000 - $150,000/year* + profit sharing + benefits
Range depends on overall experience and level of skill
