Waterville Valley Summer Camp (WVSC), a Sports for a Lifetime Academy, is a co-ed summer camp for children ages 8 – 15 located in the heart of New Hampshire’s White Mountain National Forest.Named Best of New Hampshire by New Hampshire and Best of New England by Yankee Magazine, Waterville Valley Summer Camp is looking for Camp Counselors to serve in the following areas from July 8 to August 7. For successful candidates, we will provide room and board, as well as one of the most satisfying summers you will ever have.Job Descriptions

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with kids and realize the importance of being proper role models — positive individuals of even temperament who are energetic, flexible, patient, sensitive, and fun-loving.Positions Available

Resident Counselors/Activity Instructor:

Seeking individuals who have an interest in golf, tennis, hiking, biking, or swimming and would be able to assist in those activities. You will reside in a bunk room with 1 or 2 other counselors and 10-12 campers, having a major impact on their summer camp experience. First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus.Resident Counselors/Lifeguard:

We seek individuals who have experience lifeguarding and/or instructing swimming. You will reside in a bunk room with 1 or 2 other counselors and 10-12 campers, having a major impact on their summer experience. First Aid/CPR/Lifeguard certifications are required.Director of Swimming:

Seeking an individual to lead the swimming program, who enjoys working with kids and realizes the importance of being a proper role model. Having an interest in golf, tennis, hiking, biking, or swimming is a plus. A WSI certification is required, and lifeguard certification is a plus.Group Leader – Hiking:

We seek an individual to lead the hiking program, who enjoys working with kids and realizes the importance of being a proper role model. A WFA certification is required.Group Leader – Biking:

We seek an individual to lead the mountain biking program, who enjoys working with kids and realizes the importance of being a proper role model. Ability to perform minor bicycle repair is necessary. Knowledge of the area around Waterville Valley is a plus. CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain one is required.General Requirements for Counselors

To be considered for employment as a Counselor/Instructor, you must have:Desire and ability to work with children outdoors.Ability to relate to one’s peer group.Ability to accept supervision and guidance.Ability to assist in teaching an activity.Good character, integrity, flexibility, and adaptability.Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.One year of college or at least 18 years of age.To Apply Online, visit:
