⠀The Role
We are looking for a competitive sales representative who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment. The sales rep will act as the key link between our company and healthcare practitioner achieving sales targets.
As an outside sales professional, your goal is to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s products and services to maximize sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Grow sales and increase total HCP users in multiple purchasing channels including driving Prescriber recommendation behavior through in person sales calls, education, and support to encourage them to recommend our products to their patients
B2B expansion by identifying and partnering with new and existing wholesale business while utilizing our ecommerce platform and selling products in their office. This will involve market research, negotiation, and collaboration to ensure our products are readily available to practitioners to recommend to patients.
Partner with HCPs including Primary Care and OB/GYN as well as Functional / Integrative Medicine MDs to recommend Metagenics products and services while utilizing effective sales skills and a science-based message
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism while navigating a medical office to reach all key decision-makers within a medical practice
Establish current and new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to grow quickly and efficiently
Demonstrate proficiency in business acumen by strategically analyzing sales reports to identify areas where both new and existing businesses can expand
Provide product information and resources aimed at aligning with the Practitioners goals to grow their practice and improve patient outcomes. Find, develop, and grow new customers in assigned territory.
Respond to customer requests and questions regarding service, products, and account information in a timely manner
Conduct quarterly/bi-annual customer business reviews to identify customer growth opportunities through adding additional products, increasing product demand, and improving patient education
Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify opportunities for gaining competitive advantage within assigned territory
Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions, trade shows and corporate events
Manage expense reporting timely and accurately
Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up-to-date with industry trends
Complete projects and tasks as assigned by management
Basic Requirements
Experience / Training / Education
Bachelor’s degree required.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in an outside sales role
Demonstrated success in previous outside sales role
Experience working with functional medicine, OB/GYN, and/or Primary Care MDs strongly preferred
Skills/Abilities
Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas
Strong presentation capabilities
Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills
Highly motivated and target driven
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability and willingness to learn products and industry-specific knowledge
Ability to travel by car and/or plane frequently
Strong Team Player: Demonstrates exceptional collaboration skills, fosters team unity, and maintains an open-minded approach to learning from colleagues. Values diverse perspectives and contributes to a positive, inclusive team environment.
Compensation
The current range for this role based out of Dallas, TX is $80,000/yr. to $95,000/yr.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
