Our clients are based throughout the US, with a specific focus on Chicago, Indianapolis, California, and Philadelphia.About the Role:Fair Future is seeking a motivated entry level Grants Associate to join our team. This inaugural role encompasses the grant lifecycle as well as provides administrative support to the CEO Kelsey Dale. Grant writing and grant management responsibilities include but are not limited to calendar management, grant prospect research, and writing proposals and programmatic reports for funded grants. The ideal candidate will also coordinate overall client services for grant writing and management. This position is crucial for helping our clients secure funding and ensure compliance and effective reporting for funded projects. This role has a direct reporting line to the CEO and a dotted line to the COO.Key Responsibilities:Grant Writing:

Research and identify grant opportunities that align with client missions and goals.Write and submit compelling grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government entities.Tailor grant applications to fit the specific requirements of each funding opportunity.

Grant Calendar Management:

Maintain a detailed grant calendar to track deadlines for applications, reports, and renewals.Ensure timely submission of all grant applications and reports.Prepare communication for upcoming deadlines and requirements to be shared with clients and internal team members.Prepare client communications around funder prospects, upcoming grant opportunities, and approaching deadlines.Support as assigned with funder prospect research identifying funders and grants aligned with clients’ missions, programs, and fundraising goals

Grant Reporting:

Write programmatic narrative reports for funded grants based on funder requirements included provided data and program activities.Maintain accurate records of all grant-related activities and communications.

Other Duties as Assigned:

We are a growing organization, and while we strongly believe in the right hat for the right person, there will inevitably be a time that you may be asked to wear a different hat. We anticipate this to be no more than 10-15% of your position responsibilities
