Starting salary will be from £37,099 up to £44,263 per annum (pro rata) in Grade 7, depending on qualifications and experience.Part TimeJob reference: R0363We are seeking to recruit an experienced counsellor to join our very busy and well-respected student mental health & Wellbeing service. The successful candidate will be professionally trained and experienced in working with short term counselling interventions, with an appreciation of the benefits of this work in the context of Higher Education.You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and administrative skills and be willing to be flexible to manage your own workload in response to the needs of the service. It is important that the postholder is a positive and committed team player with a willingness to play an active part in all aspects of the service delivery. BACP accreditation or equivalent would be advantageous and or be working towards accreditation.We are looking for applicants who can work a minimum of 15 hours per week to be agreed with the Student Mental Health & Wellbeing Manager with the day’s negotiable. Ideally, we are looking for a Tuesday and Friday working pattern.This role will be located at the City Centre Campus, Leeds, with travel at times to Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth, Leeds.
