Field Marketing Brand Ambassador

Position Objective

As a Field Marketing Brand Ambassador, you will be the dynamic and influential face of Schwazze in your community, playing a crucial role in elevating our brand presence and driving customer traffic to our retail locations, signing up consumers for the Gratify Loyalty program and driving downloads of the Star Buds App. Through innovative and targeted marketing initiatives, you will engage directly with consumers, retailers, and key influencers to create meaningful and lasting connections. Your efforts will not only enhance brand loyalty but also contribute significantly to the company’s growth and market leadership.

Major Functions

Brand Representation and Event Execution (50%)Serve as the embodiment of the company values and mission in all community interactions.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our cannabis products, retail locations, Loyalty program, Retail Apps, industry trends, and regulatory environment to effectively represent the brand.Consistently communicate the benefits and features of Schwazze retail locations, products, ensuring alignment with the company’s messaging and goals.Strategically plan, organize, and execute a variety of on-site marketing events, including Loyalty program demonstrations, app demonstrations, product demonstrations, promotions, and community engagements.Ensure events are well-coordinated, with all logistical details managed, from securing locations to setting up booths and displays.Engage with consumers and community members at a variety of events, including cannabis festivals, local markets, and other gatherings, as well as dispensary pop-up shops and community events organized by Schwazze.

Relationship Building (20%)Develop and nurture strong relationships with key retail partners, local influencers, and community leaders.Regularly visit retail locations to ensure Schwazze events are driving traffic to their stores and promotions are leading to sales conversions.Collaborate with store managers and staff to optimize event selection and community engagement, ensuring efforts are driving increased visibility and sales.

Consumer Engagement (15%)Educate consumers on the advantages of Schwazze retail locations, emphasizing their service, selection, product quality, and unique features.Encourage Loyalty and App trials through informative and engaging presentations, helping consumers make informed decisions.Drive awareness and activation of Gratify, the company's loyalty program, by promoting its benefits and assisting consumers with App setup and usage.Gather feedback from consumers during interactions, providing valuable insights to the marketing team to refine strategies and improve offerings.

Sampling Programs (5%)Lead compliant product sampling initiatives at approved locations, ensuring adherence to all local and state regulations.Distribute samples and promotional materials to potential customers, offering a hands-on experience with Schwazze products.Track the effectiveness of sampling initiatives, reporting on consumer reactions and potential sales impact.

Social Media Activation (5%)Promote Schwazze products and events on social media platforms, creating and sharing content that resonates with the target audience.Engage with followers online, encouraging them to participate in events, try new products, and share their experiences using branded hashtags.Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts with broader campaigns, amplifying the reach and impact of your activities.

Reporting (5%)Diligently track and report on the performance of events, consumer interactions, and sales impact.Provide detailed feedback on market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging opportunities, helping to shape future marketing strategies.Regularly update the marketing team on the effectiveness of your initiatives, ensuring that efforts align with the company's overall goals.

Education and ExperienceA bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field preferred.2+ years of experience in cannabis culture and industry dynamics, coupled with an enthusiasm for advocacy and education.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and connect with diverse audiences.Proven experience in field marketing or brand ambassadorship, with a creative approach to grassroots strategies.Highly motivated, independent, and capable of managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.A genuine desire to impact the local community positively, with a solid understanding of local cannabis regulations.Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools, with the ability to create engaging online content.Flexibility to travel within your designated territory, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Ability to obtain and maintain an active MED badge in the state of Colorado.

Working ConditionsMust be 21 years or older.Ability to work flexible hours; nights, weekends, and holidays are to be expected. The schedule will vary depending on the needs of the business.Capability to lift and carry promotional materials and event equipment.Frequent travel within the Colorado market is required.
