The overall responsibilities of this role are to:Develop and sustain a Business Strategy designed to gain or protect market shareProvide basic technical service to Holcim customers in territoryLead the territory Marketing and Sales efforts within the Business UnitMonitor the quality and performance of Holcim and competitive products in the territoryPosition involves travel as needed to meet with customers and attend business unit and district meetings.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.Creates clear business strategy for key accounts (e.g. increase share, account penetration, protect existing base, etc.)Develops, maintains and strengthens customer relationshipsDevelops revenue and product goals which are time-bound, realistic and achievableUnderstands how to deliver value to customers (Performance Innovations if applicable) and uses value selling strategiesIdentifies and understands competitive landscapeDevelops plans to maximize potential of accounts, and efficient use of time; uses good account management practicesPromotes the use of Holcim products in the territoryActively shares customer information with marketing, manufacturing and logisticsProvides technical assistance and utilizes resources as needed to satisfy basic product and customer issuesResolves basic customer product and technical problemsProvides training and education for customersGathers territory intelligence on all market products and creates a realistic succession pipeline of customers that can be sold if other volumes are lostParticipates actively in trade associations as requiredHighlights product development opportunitiesResearches customer and competitor business cycles/practices and develops marketable value-added propositionsMaintains up to date account plans that reflect account strategyBuilds strong customer and buying influencer relationshipsImplements an effective call planning systemTracks and manages major sales opportunities as they progress through the selling processIdentifies and elevates customer volume abnormalities with proposed resolutionEffectively manages relationships between logistics, manufacturing, pricing and other key issuesIdentifies and incorporates service and product improvement opportunitiesEnsures forecast accuracy across customer portfolioManages timely concrete test program sample managementOther duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor’s degree or 3 years equivalent experienceAdditional Education Preferred:

Bachelor's degree.Field of Study Preferred:

Business, engineering, or equivalent degree.Required Work Experience:

3-5 years in the construction material industryRequired Training/Certifications:
