We are guided by our vision that all people – regardless of socioeconomic, cultural, religious, or ethnic background – deserve to meet their basic needs for food, dignity, and respect. We offer a holistic approach to increasing a person’s access to affordable, healthy food through our free meal programs, advocacy, food sourcing initiatives, and community partnerships. We have served over 4,000,000 free meals for four consecutive years, which demonstrates the ongoing need for free, healthy meals in our community. In 2023, we served nearly 6,000,000 free meals – the largest amount in our organization’s history.POSITION SUMMARYLoaves & Fishes is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to ensure the success of digital communication efforts on the Advancement Team. As the Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and managing social media posts across our platforms in partnership with the Communications Manager. Your role will be vital in helping us connect with our audience, drive engagement, and support our organizational goals. The Social Media Content Creator cares about food insecurity and barriers to food access in our community, and is passionate about engaging others to support our work to ensure we can continue providing free meals to our families, friends, and neighbors.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDevelop compelling and visually appealing social media content (graphics, videos, captions) that aligns with the Loaves & Fishes brand and messaging.Collaborate with the Communications Manager to plan and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistency and timely postings.Attend key events and visit Community Meal Sites, Commissary Kitchens, Warehouses, and more to capture authentic, on-the-ground content, including photos, videos, and interviews with guests, volunteers, and staff.Monitor social media platforms for engagement opportunities. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries to build a strong online community.Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.Work closely with the Communications Manager to track and analyze performance, ensuring alignment with overall communication goals and campaigns.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONSEducation:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.Experience:

One to two years of experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, communications, or a related field. Must have excellent computer skills, with proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook) and familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut).Desired Skills & Qualities:

Strong communication skills (verbal and written), collaborative, organized, problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, ability to be accessible and friendly, willingness to adapt and learn, and passionate about the Loaves & Fishes mission.Pay:
