Job Summary:

The

Director of Recruitment and Communications

at AdventHealth University (AHU) oversees the recruitment team and the communications center, focusing on enhancing the university's strategic recruitment initiatives across various territories and inbound/outbound communication. This role involves supervising recruiters and communications center staff, refining communication and recruitment processes, and ensuring alignment with AHU's enrollment goals. The Director of Recruitment and Communications is responsible for the development and execution of innovative recruitment and communication strategies, comprehensive oversight of recruitment events, and ensuring effective use of the CRM system for tracking and analyzing recruitment activities and communication touchpoints with prospective students and applicants. This role demands strong leadership skills to guide the team in achieving enrollment targets and fostering relationships with prospective students, applicants, and educational and community stakeholders.

You Will Be Responsible For:

Oversee and manage recruitment and communication staff, ensuring effective territory coverage, outreach and cultivation tactics, and relationship building with prospective students and educational counselors.

Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic recruitment and communication plans to meet or exceed enrollment targets, adjusting strategies in response to market trends and institutional needs.

Monitor and guide the recruitment and communications processes from initial contact through admission, ensuring a cohesive and personalized approach to prospective student engagement.

Supervise the planning and execution of major recruitment events and initiatives, both on and off campus, to maximize prospective student outreach and engagement.

Travel as necessary to support recruiters in various territories and ensure successful execution of recruitment events and strategies.

Ensure consistent and effective communication across multiple channels between recruitment and communications staff and prospective students, tailoring messaging to meet the needs of diverse audiences.

Oversee the maintenance and analysis of recruitment and communications data in the CRM system, utilizing this data to enhance recruitment and communication strategies and reporting accuracy.

Provide training and professional development opportunities for the team, fostering a skilled and knowledgeable recruitment team.

Collaborate with academic and executive leadership to report on recruitment and communication progress and outcomes, offering insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis.

What Will You Need:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field

Must possess a general knowledge of the higher education recruitment and enrollment/admissions processes and customer service and communication strategies

Supervises recruiter and potentially student workers

Active Driver’s License (50% travel)
