JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The

Brand Manager - Canada

is responsible for leading the marketing strategy development and executing national, regional, local and digital campaigns to drive business growth for the Viega LLC brand throughout Canada. This role will work closely with cross functional teams to lead and execute opportunities, recommend solutions and implement programming to drive the business.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILSLead the execution of campaigns and communications to develop brand growth and engagement across Canada. Channels include digital, social, email, events and trade shows.Develops and manages marketing strategies that align with Country Manager goals to support growth for commercial, industrial and marine verticals.Leads and executes regional customer events across Canada, tailoring to top customers and creating a unique brand experience.Analyzes mid- and post- program data; recommends and implements changes to optimize programming.Creates and manages marketing strategy to support the launch of Canada Viega Experience Centers; develop continuous strategy to help promote VEC services and create awareness.Leverages Customer Market Insights data to drive communication across the customer journey to various key audiences.Provide strategic direction to internal design team and external agency network (includes writing creative briefs, evaluating programs and creative, and problem solving).Works cross-functionally with internal and external teams to ensure a consistent brand experience across all Viega LLC marketing efforts.Manages Viega branding at distributor and wholesaler locations through product displays, digital advertising and other tactics funded by co-op marketing funds.Proactively shares relevant data and results with key stakeholdersDevelops and maintains marketing budget.Attends meetings as required and/or assignedPerforms other duties as required and/or assigned25-50% travel will be requiredREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong business acumen. Understand the P&L and how marketing metrics relate to financial performance.Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data, turning data into insights and insights into action plans. Ability to find alternative data sources when data is not available.Ability to recommend investments based on business fundamentals and marketing principles.Ability to provide strategic direction for program and creative development including briefing, program and creative review.Understanding of advertising claims and ability to evaluate risk.Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing and effectively present in front of customers.Ability to solve problems and execute innovative solutions.Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.Working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing requiredMBA preferred10+ years of marketing experience with 3+ years in a general management function (e.g. brand or product management) and 5+ years in a B2B marketing role requiredPrior work experience leading large (multi-million dollar advertising) campaigns -with a mix of on and offline tactics - requiredTrade show and event experience preferredTrades/Industry experience preferredEquivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Total Rewards Package :

Compensation

Base: $165,348 to $214,835 CAD annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.Bonus or Commission: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.Application Window
