The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for our customers and will demonstrate executive-level administrative, marketing, and influencing skills. As a field/outside residential salesperson, customer relationships will be developed through face-to-face interactions and over the phone. They will provide excellent service and knowledge on products appropriate to enhance sales growth and relationships. This position supports distributors, dealers, and contractors with valued solutions. This role is responsible for cascading our Customer Solutions Business Strategy with their actions. The Territory Sales Manager will join our mission to "Make the tech in the truck more efficient" and embrace our vision to "Enhance lives through solutions."

Essential Functions:

Contacts existing and prospective residential customers to uncover and clarify needs & opportunitiesPositions Johnstone products and services as a strategic advantage to customersRecommends products to customers based on customers' business needs to increase sales and maintain targetsEstablishes and grows relationships with key people and decision-makers with all customersMonitors market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and salesDevelops territory and sales plans to target key customers and prioritize sales activitiesMaintains knowledge of new and existing residential products by participating in multiple learning mediaResponsible for hitting personal sales budgetUnderstanding the unique value proposition that we have to offer as Johnstone SupplyReporting to leadership on activity in the assigned market with regular communicationReviewing local numbers and sales trends to identify both opportunities and threats­­­­Perform other job-related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:

An associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferredAbility to operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism2 years of experience as a Sales and/or Service Associate in HVAC or similar industry preferredStrong knowledge of HVAC products, processes, services, customers, and decision-makers preferredA valid state driver's license and safe driving record requiredStrategic planning, organization, communication, presentation, and connectivity skillsUnderstand margin, P&L, and how to drive unparalleled success in these areasAble to travel to multi-cities and states, including overnightsOutstanding performance-based acumen, as well as proven leadership and relationship building skillsPhysical Demands of the Job:
