Duties:
Manage a high performing team to deliver against objectives across tentpole retail moments, integrated marketing campaigns, DEI marketing and evergreen marketing strategy related to music releases and e-commerce stores for UMG's diverse roster of artists Measure and analyze objectives and KPIs for projects and overall team Work with marketing managers to develop content strategy to meet objectives for each individual campaign Keep abreast of evolving content trends to increase conversion and campaign success Continue to develop and adapt influencer marketing strategies and processes as the program evolves as a central function Provide oversight and direction on cross-category gift card marketing plans Manage the effectiveness of cross-team collaboration and adapt processes as needed Onboard agencies/vendors, as needed Problem solve and escalate roadblocks, as needed Encourage team camaraderie and relationship building through activities and team building opportunities
Skills:
8-10 years of experience in a similar role, experience in the music and/or entertainment industry a plus 3-5 years of experience managing direct reports Ability to lead and guide a team of marketers Ability to provide marketing managers with guidance on the development of their marketing plans and the knowledge base to know "what's next" as they navigate cross functional work Experience with e-commerce storefronts and D2C marketing Experience with managing agency partners Experience with budget management Ability to deliver and produce results on tight timelines Deep understanding of content strategy and the ability to use content to drive conversions Critical thinking and problem solving skills Relationship building skills Solution oriented Strong analytical capabilities with a track records of leveraging analytics to drive business performance
Education:
BS/BA in Marketing or similar field MBA a plus
