About the Role

The Investment Operations Associate will assist with broad platform oversight and management of the MoneyLion Investing Platform. MoneyLion offers clients the ability to invest in individual stocks, a suite of managed portfolios as well as to invest in Crypto currencies. This role will play a key support / operational function across the management of all three offerings. Specifically, this individual will have responsibility for monitoring of client accounts and investment allocations, handle the management and upkeep of back office systems, and aid in maintaining data for compliance purposes. This position will work in a highly cross-functional environment, partnering closely with the Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance and Compliance teams, as well as, key custodial and trading partners, to help manage and improve Wealth and Investment systems and processes that create a more efficient and customer centric experience.

This role is expected to be present in NYC office, 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the management and execution of investment operations processes and procedures.Conduct daily reconciliation of investment transactions and resolve any discrepancies.Monitor and maintain key trading and money movement systems and services.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of investment activities.Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of investment data.Help with the implementation of frameworks to optimize and support trading, investment flows, improvements to new and existing systems/services.Assist in managing multiple product lines, including but not limited to Crypto, Managed Portfolios, and Active Investing.Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure compliance with rules and regulations as set forth by regulatory agencies, and those set by external partners.Assist with responses to regulatory agencies and routine and surprise regulatory audits.Act as a point of contact, along with Investment Operations Manager, to custodians and external partners to ensure all parties are operating in a succinct and efficient manner to certify that all processes are functioning as expected.About You:

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in investment operations or financial services, or fintech is preferred.Series 7 license is a plus or potential willingness to obtain the license.Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and SQLPassion and knowledge of investment concepts, products, and the regulatory framework is preferred.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.Knowledge of investment concepts, products, and regulations is preferred.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Ability to work well in a independent setting, as well as in a team setting, with a strong sense of ownershipThe annual base salary for the Investing Operations Associate is expected to be between $80,000 to $90,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
