Procedures - All pediatric procedures including circumcisionsTypes of Cases - Newborn births, RSV, Diabetics, Hyperbilirubinemia, influenza, pneumonia, dehydration, overdose, abuse cases, abdominal pain.Admissions per day - Varies daily, daily average census 2.5EMR - MeditechSupport Staff - Nursing staff availableGeneral Duties:Treat patients according to, and perform such clinical procedures as are consistent with provider's licensure, clinical specialty and privileges, practice, and training.Prepare and maintain all reports correspondence necessary or appropriate to the performance of professional services.Cooperate with the hospital in the event of a claim, threatened claim, or litigation involving the hospital.Participate in hospital credentialing and peer review activities.Attend to patients in hospitals and other facilities when they are admitted to such facilitiesAssist the hospital in obtaining and maintaining any and all licenses, permits, and other authorizations, plus achieving any applicable accreditation standards, including, without limitation, those reached to provider's services under this agreement.Client Q&A:

We don't have a dedicated Peds floor, any pediatric patients that need to be admitted would go to the med/surg floor. As far as how many beds it depends on really the season RSV, Influenza, Covid, occasional patient under bili lights on the floor, occasional Asthma patient on the floor.-What pediatric specialties services are available at this location?(ENT, surgery, cardiology, ortho)
The specialty services we have are general surgery and ortho.-Does this hospital receive outside transfers from other hospitals?
We do accept transfers from outside sources but not depending on what they are, usually Appy or broken bone, something pretty straight forward.-Are pediatric and newborn echocardiograms able to be done in hospital?
No we do not.-Are there lactation consultants available 7 days a week?
Lactation, yes there is someone on at all times.-Will the locum be responsible for ambulatory patient phone calls from after hours ?
