within the R&D Tech Clinical Trials Supply solutions team is accountable for designing, delivering and supporting the Technology products for the R&D Clinical Supply Chain 'randomization and trial supply management' function. These products manage the ordering and dispensing of medicinal products and vaccines as part of GSK's clinical trials programme and are therefore critical to the progress of GSK's R&D pipeline and the health and safety of trial participants.

Overview:

The Tech Product Owner is recognised as a 'go to' leader and trusted advisor for their product portfolio, working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to prioritise demand according to business value and delivering against agreed priorities to meet the needs of the Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) team, other R&D customers and the overall GSK Digital and Tech strategic roadmap. The Product Owner maintains a multi-year roadmap with a strong focus on improving the user experience of their products and uses their domain knowledge and holistic thinking to drive acceleration, agility and efficiency in GSK R&D medicines development and supply.This role has global line and matrix management responsibilities for a team of approximately 12 people.Your ResponsibilitiesThe R&D Digital and Tech

These responsibilities include the following:Technology Strategy & Enablement : in the role of trusted advisor, strong domain knowledge including one or more of the following: business process, industry best practices, in market solutions. Maintains awareness of emerging industry trends related to their product space and uses this knowledge to drive forward-looking product strategy.Demand management:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog with a focus on the highest business value. Accountable for the product backlog and product cost forecast.Governance : Establish business value, manage delivery and service performance and manage business risk within the scope of their product. Responsible for representing the product in governance boards such as Steering and Design Authority.Product/Project Delivery:

Design and deliver the optimal set of products and services which meets the business strategy and requirements. Accountable for creation and execution of the product roadmap. The ability to think big picture and 'customer first' is imperative.Quality, Risk & Compliance:

Accountable for ensuring all products are compliant with internal security and risk management policies and standards, as well as external regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. GxP. Ensures Tech continuity plans are in place for all business-critical products.Feature Definition:

Proven ability to translate customer requests, competitive activities, and industry trends into value drivers of new technology solutions and product requirements that can be easily understood by product teams, software engineers and other key constituencies within the organization.Service Management:

Accountable for ensuring the right services levels are in place, to ensure adherence to those SLAs, and directly manage any Level 3 Support issues and escalations. Accountable for Life Cycle management of the product.People Management:

Will work in collaboration with the broader team to drive and deliver business value to tight timelines adhering to the release management calendar where applicable. This role will have both line- and matrix-management elements.Adoption strategy & change management : In the role of change agent, this role will support both the product teams and the business in agile approaches to solution development and adoption, building excitement, momentum, visible success stories and a clear value-based vision as roadmap plans come to life.Why you?Basic Qualifications:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:Bachelor's DegreeGood experience in a Pharma/Biopharma/Life sciences or Tech organization; this may be in product or service management, programme/project delivery leadership or business analysis/product designTrack record of delivering positive business outcomes through process and Tech-enabled solutionsExcellent relationship management, influencing and communication skillsExperience of leading and developing a team (direct- or matrix-reporting)Experience of working with Tech systems in a regulated industryPreferred Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:Previously held clinical trials- or supply chain-related rolesExperience of one or more of the following:
