General medicines include our inhaled medicines for asthma and COPD, antibiotics, and medicines for skin diseases.By 2031, we aim to deliver 31 to 33 billion in annual sales - a step-change in performance and growth which will significantly increase the positive impact we can have on the health of billions of patients around the world. And we're confident in our future. We now have a pipeline of 69 vaccines and specialty medicines, many with the potential to be first-or best-in-class.Pricing and Market Access (P&MA) are key to maximising the value of our products for patients, healthcare systems and for the company. In order to further strengthen our capability in this critical function, we have centralized global P&MA for all product areas under a senior leader and we are now recruiting for the P&MA Head for Specialty Care. Reporting to the Global Head, P&MA, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Global Product Strategy to build a best-in-industry Global Pricing & Access team accountable for:Developing and delivering the pricing and access strategies required to maximise our specialty care products over their lifecycle.

Engaging externally to incorporate the latest payer insights into our strategies and ensure customers recognise the value of our medicines.

Driving innovative solutions at the product and portfolio level.

You will also partner closely with key functions in R&D, including Value Evidence & Outcomes (VEO), to secure the early input and evidence generation required to deliver competitive Target Medicine Profiles, clinical and real-world development plans, and the delivery of reimbursable dossiers for the markets. Strong collaboration with Medical, Regional, and local access teams as well as Global Government Affairs / Policy will be essential to further strengthen our ability to reward innovation and make our products accessible to the patients who will benefit most.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a team that will provide strategic market access and pricing advice and leadership to the Specialty Care area globally, to develop innovative and competitive Payer Value Propositions and Pricing Strategies for launch and pipeline assets.

Development of GSKs global strategy on pricing and access for Specialty Care products, embedded in the Integrated Asset Plan.

Customer insight into pricing and access trends.

Innovation in approaches to pricing and access.

Foresight into direction of travel for payers and development of GSKs position on Payer approaches.

Lead the franchise cross-functional efforts (e.g., Value and Access Teams) to deliver close alignment between insights into payer evidence needs.

Input to the evidence generation plan to ensure it will address critical payer questions, and ensure execution of the plan to support payer value proposition and pricing strategy.

Guide the Product Development Lead (PDL) on consolidating the payer questions/evidence needs for key markets.

Basic QualificationsPricing and Market Access experience acquired at pharmaceutical companies, Payer or Health Technology Assessment agencies, physician associations or relevant consultancy companies in a multi-national context.

Experience of working in an above country role/Global team in the market access space.

Leadership experience in Specialty Care in industry (major global pharma or biotechnology organisation).

Experience in both line management and matrix team leadership.

Experienced in engagement with senior stakeholders (SVP/C-level).

Preferred QualificationsMSc in Health Economics.

Considerable experience in commercial strategy and driving innovation in Specialty Care Payer/Market Access and Pricing.

Experience in leading a diverse global team across global, regions and local affiliates.

Appreciation for External Relations and Public Health Issues in the Specialty Care field.

Strong network across pharma, biotechnology, and payer bodies.
