Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!As the Manager of a diverse and hardworking Combustion Device engineering team, you will set technical direction and train team members to support current and future program needs. You will support in-house and supplier activities in the design and fabrication of the Thrust Chambers Assemblies, Nozzles, Main Combustion Chambers, and Nozzle Return Lines for our BE-4 Vulcan and New Glenn customers. This includes leading and promoting opportunities to realize process improvement and development activities for all phases of the TCA life cycle that will support delivery of our product at rate. You will be responsible for the complete employee experience including hiring, performance management, training, and providing tools for career development. You will help to improve technical processes and tool development around focused areas of engines test planning, execution, and engine development cycles as well as provide day-to-day direction.In addition to people manager responsibilities, you will provide direct technical support to a program in all phases of the component life cycle. You will contribute to and lead component design, manufacturing, test support, perform data reviews and Test Readiness Reviews, support anomaly investigations, and root cause analysis to drive corrective actions and hardware improvements.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise and leadership skills to positively support our efforts to build the road to space.
