Conduct physical daily cycle counts on materials based on the cycle count schedule to ensure inventory accuracy. Enter and post count results into the ERP. Research, repeat preliminary work, or recount when a variance greater than acceptable limit is discovered and escalate to the Inventory Control Analyst or Inventory Manager when unable to resolve issue. Investigate/troubleshoot inventory issues and work with other internal stakeholders as needed to determine solutions. Reviews and audits material good's receipts in warehouse, missed realization scans in cooler, ERP/WMS transactions to ensure FIFO order accuracy, processing accuracy, and proper rotation of materials. Communicates to the Inventory Manager issues, process inefficiencies, or irregularities discovered throughout the inventory management or cycle counting process. Assist with design and implementation of inventory management best practices in the warehouses and cooler with a focus on continuous improvement and FIFO. Adheres to inventory control standards and ethics. Must be available to participate in year-end physical inventory. Serve as backup to additional onsite Inventory Specialist. Work closely with Planning to ensure production plan matches inventory needs to achieve OTIF goals. Ensure any damaged or nonconforming materials are physically quarantined and properly labeled. Complete and submit documentation for occurrences. This position will collaborate and communicate closely with the Warehouse, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Accounting TEAms. Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities. This position has food Safety Responsibilities. Other responsibilities, as necessary.Qualifications ERP and WMS experience, preferably Sage X3, Mobe 3, or SAP. (Minimum 2 years preferred) Inventory management and cycle counting experience. (1-3 years) All applicants must have either a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and five years of related experience andor training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. All applicants must have the ability to perform basic mathematical functions, the ability to prepare correspondence, and the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations. To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
