Your role is pivotal in ensuring precise and timely financial reporting, billing, and overall accounting management. You will lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, driving excellence and efficiency in our financial processes.Key Responsibilities:Develop and oversee schedules for the timely preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements for all associations and clients.Manage banking relationships, including account setups and fund transfers.Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP regulations for not-for-profit organizations.Review periodic financial statements, including P&L variances and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Supervise staff accountants and support staff, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing teams.Oversee accurate and timely recording of accounts payable invoices and cash receipts.Coordinate accounting setup for new associations/clients and manage data transfers for those ending their relationships with us.Assist with accounting system setup, testing, and ongoing maintenance.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Communicate with association managers, board members, developers, and bank representatives as needed.Manage annual reviews, audits, and tax return processes, ensuring timely filings.Attend HOA and board meetings to present budgets and financials and address inquiries.Assist the CEO with accounting-related activities and special projects.Maintain high standards of documentation and audit trails for all accounting transactions.Stay updated on relevant state and regulatory statutes and community policies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in client and corporate accounting.Exceptional customer service skills, both internal and external.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).Strong computer skills, including data entry and 10-key proficiency.Professional communication skills across various mediums (phone, interpersonal, written).Compensation:Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.Apply for this job#J-18808-Ljbffr
