Business Controller

Summary:The Business Controller will be a member of the Finance Team focusing on the production activities and is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of our multinational organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budget management, and cost analysis. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong accounting background, with an

emphasis in production accounting , adept at navigating complex financial landscapes and driving financial efficiency and business growth.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee financial operations, strategic planning, and organizational budget management, ensuring financial stability and growth.Drive business performance by implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with corporate objectives.Conduct cost analysis as part of broader financial oversight, identifying efficiency gains and optimization opportunities.Support the main functions in Supply Chain (Production, Sourcing, Logistics) in terms of the financial performance.Manage and integrate financial reporting systems, ensuring accurate and consistent data across the multinational organization.Support the financial team in executing month-end and year-end close processes, providing reliable and timely financial statements.Partner with legal entities to facilitate financial planning and analysis, enhancing business insights and decision-making capabilities.Oversee the implementation and utilization of ERP systems, with an emphasis on streamlining financial processes and reporting.Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and standards, maintaining the organization's financial integrity.Qualification Requirements:Strong foundation in financial management, with a proven track record as a business or financial controller in a multinational setting.Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.Experience with production accounting integrated into the broader context of financial control and business strategy.ERP system proficiency, particularly Dynamics NAV, with the ability to adapt to new financial technologies and platforms.This is a hybrid role, requiring the individual to be in-office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.
