Shop floor position consisting of completing first articles, final inspections, and other various quality functions and checks.
Contact and communication with at least 40 plus people per day and work with other departments such as shipping, engineering, sales, and the department supervisors.
You will be inspecting formed tubing, machined product from the machine shop, as well as some weldments from our welding department.
Tape measure, calipers, height gage, micrometers, angle finders, optical comparators among other gages.Must be able to understand and interpret blueprint requirements.Detect quality errors or problems and take corrective action.Score a 70% or better on the company Shop Math Test.Proficient computer skills: MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.Perform visual in process inspections, understanding of pressure tests, perform NDE inspections.
