We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Senior Group Sales Manager to join our team and drive group sales across a number of our properties under "The Collective” brand.The Area Senior Group Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue, establishing strong relationships with clients and ensuring that each property meets its group sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality market, excellent sales skills and a proven track record of success in group sales management.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Planning:

Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for each property within the assigned region to achieve group sales targets.Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, event planners and travel agencies.Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the luxury hospitality industry.Revenue Management:

Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and inventory strategies to maximize revenue from group bookings.Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor on-property sales teams to ensure alignment with area sales goals and strategies.Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare regular sales reports and analysis to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights.Event Coordination:

Work closely with the events and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group events and functions.Brand Representation:

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and networking functions to promote the brand and generate new business.QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field preferred.Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in group sales within the luxury hospitality industry, prior experience with a multi-property role is preferred.SkillsProven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in sales and CRM software.Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Company OverviewProper Hospitality is made up of a diverse group of passionate individuals who share a common love for hotels and the art of hospitality.
