KLA focuses more than average on innovation and invests 15% of sales back into R&D.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsAs a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will work with the global communications team, product managers, and product marketing groups across the company to develop and manage communications assets that highlight the value and differentiation of KLA’s products and portfolio solutions. You’ll draw upon your ability to think strategically and efficiently to support the development of unique and memorable communications material that advances the KLA brand.In this role you will:Leverage top-level product messaging to develop, review and/or edit text and graphical content for product-related collateral (web, product literature, technical articles, social media, etc.)Establish a formal process for handling product collateral requests and execution (brochures, banners, web entries, tradeshow materials, etc.). Partner with the creative brand team or agencies to create branded product/technical content.Help maintain digital libraries and SharePoints of product and technology assets.Educate and implement product comms processes. Find opportunities to simplify and improve processes across the product comms organization.In collaboration with the central communications team, produce and edit product materials for tradeshows.Partner with the central communications team to create blogs and social media posts that focus on products and technologies.Desirable capabilities and skills:Copywriting and editing skills for product marketing collateralSolid project management skills with the ability to manage product, technical assets, databases, and processesHighly organized and detail-oriented, with focus on maintaining accuracy of data, content, and assetsAbility to distill product information into accessible language or visual conceptsAbility to create blog contentAbility to coordinate and collaborate across teamsOrganized and skilled at handling multiple concurrent projects and agenciesMinimum QualificationsA degree or equivalent experience in a communications field with a passion for science and technology; or a BS in physics, chemistry or related science or engineering fields with strong communications skills.Knowledge of the semiconductor market and our company’s position within the market; bonus for experience with KLA’s products through previous positions in applications, engineering or product marketing.Self-starter, who can identify problems and build solutionsProficient with Microsoft Office, experience with SharePoint site creation/maintenanceExperience writing and editing marketing collateralThe company offers a total rewards package that is competitive and comprehensive including but not limited to the following: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.KLA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
