We are seeking a Project Manager to join our thriving Energy sector. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in project management and a passion for the Energy industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale projects, with a focus on efficient resource allocation, budgeting, and excellent time management. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of our projects, ensuring we deliver top-notch solutions to our clients on time and within budget. NetSuite experience would be a plus.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing large-scale projects within the Energy industry, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Developing comprehensive project plans, outlining the project’s goals, resources needed, timeline, budget, and tracking mechanisms.
- Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring clear communication throughout the project life cycle.
- Implementing effective project management strategies and risk management processes to ensure projects' smooth execution.
- Monitoring project progress, resolving any issues that arise, and initiating corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensuring resource availability and allocation, managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Preparing and presenting project updates to relevant stakeholders, client teams, and senior management.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the Energy industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the Energy industry.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey project information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in resource allocation and budgeting, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- A deep understanding of the Energy industry, including its challenges, trends, and opportunities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to navigate complex project challenges.
- A customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
