Nesco Resource is looking for a Press Operator for a company in the Cherryville, NC area.

Job Description:
To efficiently and safely operate equipment, including the making of satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality.

To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification.

Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information.

Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to insure continuation of control conditions.

Provide active input to continuous process improvement.

Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors, service areas and others with a need to know.

Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas.

Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position

Responsibilities:

  • Within a team environment, efficiently and safely operate equipment and perform other functions to maximize equipment utilization, quality and team harmony.
  • Accurately observe, measure and record product/process necessary to insure product quality
  • Provide active input to continuous process improvement
  • Provide accurate documentation of production operations
  • Receive and move material to efficiently maintain production
  • Effectively communicate job related information
Other Responsibilities:
  • Maintain clean organized work area
  • Work with assist other areas
  • Actively participate in training of others and aid in the evaluation
  • Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be able to comprehend procedures, process documents and work instructions.
  • Must be able to write sufficiently to document the process.
  • Ability to do basic math with fractions or decimals.
  • Ability to reason mechanically.

Schedule:
3pm-11pm

Pay:
$18/ hour .75c for a shift differential
