Salary: $175,000 - $230,000 per year

Global polymer manufacturer is looking to bring on a Corporate Controller in our Corona, CA HQ.

We are a $150M revenue company with multiple subsidiaries under one parent company.

We are looking for a relationship-building financial leader to join our growing manufacturing firm. This is a critical leadership role reporting directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors, with a team off 8 direct-reports in our Corona office.

Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. You will also be involved in financial risk management, business analysis, cost management, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

As a Corporate Controller, you will play a crucial role in our financial management. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing all general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
2. Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, forecasts, and budgets.
3. Monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against budget.
4. Developing and implementing effective internal controls to safeguard assets.
5. Managing the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
6. Leading the financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
7. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
8. Coordinating the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
9. Working with operations to drive cost reductions and process improvements.
10. Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and function.
11. Supervising the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's ERP system (Dynamics NAV/Business Central).

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Corporate Controller position should possess the following:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA or CPA is preferred.
2. 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, or similar ERP systems.
5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
6. Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial forecasting and business analysis.
8. Ability to direct and supervise.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
10. Proven experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
11. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
