Job Details

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining the quality of products produced and packaged at the York, PA facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage inventory using Oracle software, including conducting monthly audits for spare parts management (MRO).

Participate in and advocate for safety training programs.

Understand and mitigate the financial impact of equipment downtime.

Conduct EHS training, documentation, and reporting.

Apply knowledge of reliability and control systems (both electric and pneumatic).

Prioritize and manage scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance tasks.

Diagnose and troubleshoot industrial equipment issues.

Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures and effectively communicate findings.

Maintain and update preventive/predictive maintenance programs.

Coordinate with external vendors for specialized tasks.

Adhere to and enforce safety standards and company policies.

Maintain organized and clean work areas in compliance with 5S standards.

Collaborate effectively with team members, even when performing tasks outside the typical maintenance scope.

Continuous Improvement:

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to cost-saving projects and activities.

Additional Responsibilities:

General upkeep of the facility and buildings.

Assist with regulatory compliance and records management.

Promote safety awareness and provide backup for various plant functions, including utilities.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma with manufacturing experience; some college or technical school is preferred.

Experience with packaging equipment is advantageous.

Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Outlook.

Effective time management skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience in inventory tracking for MRO (spare parts) and maintenance tasks.

A minimum of 4 years of professional experience, preferably in industrial maintenance.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Skills in welding, pneumatics, electrical systems, plumbing, and troubleshooting.
