Tax Manager Automotive Operations

Oxford Solutions is working with a client in Pittsburgh, PA looking for a Tax Manage with automotive industry background. The ideal candidate will have extensive tax management experience in a car dealership or a large car company. This role involves providing tax consulting and compliance services, along with a deep understanding of automotive operations, including dealership departments and back-office functions. Hybride work schedule in Pittsburgh, PA.Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive tax consulting and compliance services to the automotive business.Advise on tax strategies, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations and laws.Manage engagement economics and provide technical and leadership development to the tax teamCollaborate with different departments to understand operational and financial processes related to tax.Provide leadership, counseling and career guidance for the development and motivation of the engagement teamEnsure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and resolve tax issues as they arise.Stay up to date with tax legislation and its impact on the automotive industry.Work closely with dealership back-office teams to ensure tax-efficient operations.Qualifications

CPA, J.D., LL.M., or Master's in Taxation required.Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience in tax.Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations, including departmental and back-office functions.Ability to develop business and foster client relationshipsStrong leadership, training and mentoring skillsExcellent knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively with various teams and departments.Tax Manager - Automotive - 24-00795
