Description

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Divisional Director of Sales & Marketing to join their team.

Please note this position requires 100% travel in the Southeast Region.

The Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing reports to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing

PURPOSE

The Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for hands on sales execution and revenue generation at communities within your assigned portfolio and helping to implement necessary Phoenix sales systems. The Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for overseeing sales at his/her assigned division in addition to other challenged communities assigned to him/her by the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management

Studies the Market and contributes to the creation and implementation of a dynamic, successful Marketing Plan.Uses discretion and independent judgment in identifying referral sources and how much time to devote to particular marketing strategies.Collaborates with Regional Directors of Operations (RDO)/ Community Engagement Directors (CED) and Executive Directors (ED) in assigned market to help identify external business opportunitiesConducts site visits to communities with opportunity, collaboration with RDO/ED/CEDImplements sales performance plans for underperforming communities and CEDs.Analysis/Reporting

Provides detailed and accurate weekly and monthly sales and marketing productivity reports, critical success factors (comparing industry trends), including analysis, to the community Executive Director and/or Phoenix senior operations teamAnalyze and review monthly sales and marketing productivity reports, critical success factors (comparing industry trends), including analysis, to the community Executive Director and/or Phoenix senior operations teamManages sales and marketing data, audits, training, analysis, and implementationMaintains a thorough working proficiency of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) lead tracking database and keeps all contact records current.Ensures inquiry forms are always available at the front deskEnsures qualified leads are entered into the CRM databaseCompletes Sales Site Visits upon completion of site visits.Assist Community Engagement Director of designated communities with completing Marketing Action Plans.Reviews competitive market research and provide the sales team with all data (i.e., including rates, apartment sizes, services, and amenities) necessary to complete an accurate ranking and analysis of designated competitors in the communities' market.Understands competitive opportunities & threats and presents strategic alternatives to combat these to the Executive Director and Regional Sales Team.Communication

Presents the company in a positive and professional mannerPresents self in a positive and professional mannerConducts weekly State call with sales team to review sales and marketing activity, quality assurance, and other key sales issuesAssists in completion, production, and roll-out of Standard Operation ProceduresAssist with Ownership/Investor presentations, including overall portfolio strategy and sales plans to increase occupancy.Computer Skills

Produces proposals and presentation packetsIs an expert in the company's CRM and trains new hires on the CRM.Facilitates website administration providing monthly website activity report to senior operations team and working with vendors to ensure up-to-date information is on the siteOrganization / Prioritization

Troubleshoots customer service issues, presenting problems or anomalies to the Executive DirectorSales

Strives to educate the community at large about Phoenix's unique approach to senior living services.Recognizes opportunities to market Phoenix Senior Living communities and acts upon them as appropriateWorks in partnership with Director of Marketing to insure new lead generating activity has appropriate marketing support to maximize effectivenessProvides customer service by responding to corporate phone, mail, or email inquiries and appropriately communicating to the community(s)\Regional Operations TeamPositively influences and impacts sales activities for the communityAssures that occupancy and sales productivity metrics are consistently metImplements, monitors, and promotes resident referral programs to generate new referralsConducts professional outreach for lead generation purposesMaximizes occupancy and revenue opportunities for the assigned divisionManages a team of Sales SpecialistsStrategy

Gathers competitive market analysis data and maintains a detailed competitor comparative analysisCreates and executes community specific sales plans which focuses on improving conversion ratios and occupancyIdentifies opportunities to position communities in highly competitive marketsIdentifies opportunities to drive new lead channels to communitiesTraining

Partners in the delivery and participation in Phoenix Academy/PSLU training and self-study programs during the required time-frame.Conducts one on one training with all new Community Engagement DirectorsCompletes All Phoenix Academy training and job specific and management training in the timeframe designatedAttend a Selling skills and CRM lead tracking database course with 90 daysCompletes all state required trainingKeeps abreast of professional developments in the field by reading, attending conferences and training sessionsRequirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

College degree preferred, 5+ Years experience in a regional capacity with multisite/multistate portfoliosPrevious experience working with the elderly and/or disabled in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirableThis position may require up to 70% travel to communities in the assigned region, including frequent overnight travel.LICENSE - CERTIFICATION

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
