Federal Business Development Manager . This is a full-time and hybrid position.

Roles & Responsibilities:Create pipeline of existing and new federal clients to establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makersDevelop and implement a robust sales plan to meet or exceed sales objectives in acquiring new accountsIdentify leads for new business opportunities; and develop and execute capture strategy increasing P-Win to secure identified opportunityMonitor government acquisition notices to identify those that align with Astor's & SID's capabilities and goalsDevelop and implement strategic plans to penetrate accounts and expand businessIdentify growth opportunities by thoroughly understanding the needs of the business through active communication with the clientResponsible for business development and capture efforts to successfully identify client needs, and collaborate with proposal team to translate requirementsIdentify and work with the proposal team to identify and contribute to content leading to submissions of RFIs and RFPs at the federal levelConduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and competitor activitiesPrepare and deliver compelling capability presentations and technical proposals to prospective clientsAttend conferences, events, and other networking meetings with relevant stakeholders to mature sales and Capture P-winAdditional duties as assignedRequirements

10+ years' experience in aggressive Business Development and Sales; identifying and maintaining client relationships with various agencies within the Federal Government10+ years' experience in Proposal writing to include development of Win Themes and Discriminators; leveraging the Shipley process lifecycle8+ years' experience in the Information Technology (IT) industryMust have experience selling to the federal governmentBachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, or related fieldAbility to lead a team of Solutions Architects and other BD/Capture leads, is desiredAgency knowledge and active relationships in any of these agency's a plus: DOL, IRS, NOAA, FDA, Department of Transportation, DHS, HHS, DOD, USDA,Proven ability to win awards in the federal market and achieve company growthDemonstrated ability to use federal contract sourcing tools to identity opportunitiesPrior CRM tool experience, with ability to run Executive level reportingExcellent written, oral communication, and presentation skillsAbility to demonstrate resourcefulness, strategic thinking, and be a self-starterA current pipeline built upon existing client and partner relationshipsBenefits
