Description
Perform Receiving, 1st Piece and In-Process Inspections for work in process. Verify and document that materials are manufactured to customer-supplied blueprints. This position is responsible for maintaining acceptable quality levels during production.

Read and interpret blueprints and specificationsMeasure and document part dimensions using measurement toolsMaintain company quality systemsFollow written and oral instructionsFollow all company safety and operations policiesQualifications:
Working knowledge of shop mathematics, trigonometry and computersProficiency with micrometers, digital and dial calipers, height gauges, gauge pins, protractors, hardness testers and optical comparatorsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeDetail oriented, organized and able to handle multiple tasksAbility to work independentlyMotivation to learn and develop with WLSExperience in a manufacturing environment with an ISO9001 quality system preferredSuccessful completion of written tests during interview, including Shop Math, Blueprint reading and hands on measurement
