Objectives of This Role:

While Brand Strategy builds, sets and shepherds the overarching strategic direction for a brand, Digital Strategy brings the brand to life in the world through data-driven customer experiences.

We start with a deep customer understanding, employing a variety of research methods and analysis, to build personas/segments, customer/patient journeys, moments that matter, and a communications framework to inform the specific messaging and channel mix necessary to influence each audience. We assess market trends, potential whitespace and what competitor(s) have in market. Insights from this work and prioritization of where to focus establish the foundation for data-driven tactical and content planning.

Digital expertise coupled with familiarity in media and marketing technology enables architecting data-driven campaigns and overseeing ongoing execution. Leverage experience with websites, email and omnichannel business rules documentation as well as knowledge of analytical tools to provide actionable insights and demonstrate business impact. Deliver strategic recommendations and POVs on client challenges and potential solutions.

Responsibilities:

Owns digital and engagement strategy creation for assigned brandsLeader of best practices across all digital channels and media formats, including paid search, SEO, display media, social media, email marketing, marketing automation and analyticLeads education and onboardingResponsible for senior cross-department collaboration on brand strategies and commercial approaches, oversees digital strategy integration into individual tacticsLeads digital growth efforts for assigned clientsLeads digital case study creation for assigned clientsMain digital strategy contributor to tactical and brand planning for assigned clientsDevelops key insights to provide strategic approach and recommendations for brand planning and new business opportunitiesThought leader who participates in conferences, new business efforts, and capes presentationsCreates the strategy that informs media planning development across all channelsLeads tactical and campaign projections for proper analysis and measurementResponsible for data-informed growth opportunities to deliver business impactOversees and leads the development of effective measurement plans and campaign reportsOwns the development of robust omnichannel programs across assigned brandsOwns the data licensing and TAP agreements with data providersOversees the operationalizing and management of DDM programs across account functions, including account, project management, creative, and analyticsOwns the development of engagement maps, content maps, behavioral flow diagrams, retargeting strategies, brand journeys, and ecosystemsOwns strategy that informs BRDs, data maps, technical data architecture, tactical plans, briefs, and media plansOversees and leads program performance with analytics and creative teamsDevelops processes and standards to improve workflow and efficiencies across the department and with other agency functionsIs a resource and guide for team members across all functionsLeads resourcing and recruiting for direct report positionsMain input to scoping and forecastsOwns digital staff plans, assignments, and new job requisitions for assigned brands

Job Requirements:

8-10 years of digital marketing, analytics, and marketing automation experienceStrong working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or any similar toolsStrong experience using a CRM platformHands-on experience in omni-channel marketingLeading clients and a team of senior and junior analystsExceptional analytical ability and critical thinking skillsStrong understanding of the digital marketing landscapeStrong working knowledge of marketing automation platforms (Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud); certification is a plusStrong background in analyzing campaign data and drawing conclusions with proven resultsExperience articulating email campaign structure and analytics findings (written and in person)Expertise in developing lead scoring, nurture, and drip campaignsHTML development skills are a plusDeep understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, UTM tagging, HotJarWorking understanding of Third-Party Access agreements with data vendorsStrong working knowledge handling list licensing and handling proprietary dataStrong organization and written/oral communication skillsAttention to detail is a must
