The company offers the client and American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning which provides heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and commercial and residential building services, parts, support, and controls; energy services and building automation.

Job Description:Work in an agile environment, coordinating with people across products and disciplines, balancing business objectives, end-user goals, and technical requirements to create world-class experiences.Ability to grasp big-picture concepts and fundamental requirements, dive into the details to create user interfaces for interactive products through wireframes, high-fidelity visual designs, and prototype solutions.Validate designs in an iterative fashion, coordinating with the team to organize usability tests to ensure the design works for our users.Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to iterate and refine according to user feedback, while holding a high bar for success and users' basic expectations.Visual design skills and/or user research will come in handy to ensure designs are well received by end-users.Soft skills are required to work with development teams, advocate for the needs of the user, build consensus, and clearly document the desired solution.Responsibilities:

Design the user experience of new and existing software applications and experiences.Design and document clear, modern, interfaces and understandable commercial transactions.Assist with researching, exploring and testing user interface designs for mobile, tablet and web-based applications.Translate brand personality into digital, interactive experiences, including brand look, values and voice.Collaborate in an agile environment with product owners, scrum masters, developers, testers, stakeholders, as well as, other members of the user experience team.Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns.Present work to the user experience team, product team, and executives for review.Ensure user experience requirements are appropriately implemented through the development process by collaborating with developers and by providing timely reviews and feedback.Stay informed about user experience and design trends and user preferences.Work independently under general prioritization and guidance of the UX Director.Specific Deliverables Include:

Sitemaps and flow chartsWireframesPattern LibraryPresentations with various levels of information for a variety of audiencesInteractive prototypes and other deliverables to aid in user researchStyle guides and design specifications for final visual designWhere appropriate, build on persona and journey maps.Required Experience:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience2-4 years in a user experience or interactive design role for web and mobile experiences in an agile environmentSolid experience with Figma, Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, Omnigraffle, Balsalmiq, or other wireframing and interactive prototyping toolsA strong portfolio of user experience workAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesAdditional Preferred Experience:

Experience designing and measuring the effectiveness of B2B e-commerce experiencesHVAC and or manufacturing industry experienceAbility to facilitate design studios and design sprintsStrong presentation skills, including preparing presentations and presenting them to various local and remote audiencesExcellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skillsVisual design expertise and software acumenExperience designing mobile websites/apps or responsive experiencesUX research experienceInformation architecture experienceMicro-copy experienceTop 3 Soft Skill Sets:

Communication- interacting with a lot of different customers, internal members and vendors, would need clear communication and understanding to be able to share information back to the teamEmpathetic- ensuring what the team is doing is benefitting others correctly, being able to resolve issues users have had for yearsAdaptable/Flexible- able to adapt designs and dig into other frameworks and work with developers who are tied to that framework
