JOB SUMMARY:

This is a stand-alone classification. Incumbents manage projects and/or programs to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations of assigned departments or functions. Responsibilities may include analyzing business functions; recommending rate changes, and revised policies and procedures; coordinating projects related to the implementation of modern technology; compiling and analyzing data and recommending programmatic changes; representing the department to external stakeholders; and preparing statistical and analytical reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

:

(These are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)Analyzes business functions and processes and makes recommendations regarding projects, operating efficiencies, policies, procedures, technology, and/or related departmental information.

Identifies issues and discrepancies in processes or information; projects consequences of proposed actions; formulates recommendations based on findings; and implements priorities, work processes, and procedures.

Coordinates projects which may be related to department operations, technology implementation, and/or related operations.

Provides support for various systems throughout Gas and Water to include enQuesta, Invoice Cloud, WebConnect, ServiceLink, Cognos, Crystal Reports, MUNIS, HUBMAN, Luxriot, Genetec, MaaS 360, Apple Business Manager and Network Fleet; and assists with hardware support, as necessary.

Collects and analyzes data, prepares statistical and analytical reports, and provides recommendations.

Responds to requests for information and provides guidance to other departments, external agencies, the public, and/or other interested parties.

Assists the customer service department with policies and assists in troubleshooting customer complaints.

Performs other related work as required.

Typical Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, or a related field.

Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in assignment.

The work is sedentary work which requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:
