JOB SUMMARY

Data Centers is one of Belimo's six strategic initiatives (SI) with the objective of establishing and maintaining Belimo as the preferred supplier of field devices to data center customers located throughout the world. The Global Business Development Manager - Data Centers will develop Belimo's global product and sales strategy for the data center vertical market and will collaborate closely with Belimo's three (3) regional data center vertical market teams to ensure effective deployment of that strategy. The Global Business Development Manager - Data Centers is expected to serve as a role-model of Belimo's Vision and Values across a multinational team, while feeling comfortable to take a decision when needed. While being a global role, this position will be located in the Americas Region.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Global Business Development Manager - Data Centers will be part of the Belimo Americas organization although it's focus will be global. The position will report to the Head of the Americas Region.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES• Analyze and understand the global vertical market data centers, i.e. applications, technology, key players and trends• Develop and drive Belimo's global strategy for data centers• Manage, lead, and inspire Global Data Centers Team to execute the strategy, including Global Applications Manager, Global Training Manager, and Global Marketing Communications Manager• Develop a deep understanding of the heat rejection systems being deployed in current generation data centers as well as those being considered for next generation data centers by working closely with the Belimo's regional Data Center Business Development Managers, Data Center RAC's, and Sales Teams, as well as external industry experts and customers.• Collaborate closely with the four (4) Belimo Business Lines to develop a product roadmap for Belimo to follow to enable its portfolio of field devices to be the preferred portfolio for data center applications worldwide.• Provide leadership, education, and support to enable the data center focused Vertical Market and Sales Teams in the EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Americas region to be successful.• Develop a highly collaborative work environment between Belimo's regional data center focused Vertical Market and Sales Teams to enable Belimo to provide an unsurpassed customer service experience to data center customers executing projects worldwide.• Develop marketing collateral to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value proposition associated with Belimo field devices applied in data center applications. This collateral may be modified, as needed, by Belimo's regional marketing teams to appeal to the regional preferences of their markets.• Serve as role model for Belimo's Vision and Values through all interactions with Belimo employees and customers.• Track the progress of the SI Data Centers and hold quarterly reviews with the Executive Committee

REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.• 10 Years of proven track record in the HVAC, data center, or related technical fields.• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.• Strong organizational, inter-personal, and negotiation skills.• Strong communications and presentation skills.• Proficient in Excel, Word, and other computer skills.• Travel requirements of position is approximately 40%.

The base pay for this position ranges from $150,000 - $180,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 30% of an employee's annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
