The Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner. . The Nurse Practitioner (NP) assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories. He/she determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results. Communicates with external contacts frequently and is responsible to ensure ongoing service.
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm with One Late Night Per Week 10:00am-7:00pm and Some Saturdays from 9am -1pm.
Requirements
Required Education:
Masters degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program
Required Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland.
Required Experience:
One year of experience in specialty area.
Preferred Experience:
Two or more years Nurse Practitioner experience in Family Medicine.
