Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: 2 years required License: Missouri License or Compact License Certifications: BCLS, RRT Must-Have: NICU and/or PICU experience, EPIC charting experience Job Description: - Provide respiratory care in a children's acute care hospital setting.- Work three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.- Deliver care to patients in the emergency department, level 1 trauma facility, NICU, pediatric critical care, and general pediatrics.- Participate in a comprehensive orientation program (40 hours).- Wear scrubs of any color or specified hospital T-shirts/jackets.- Adhere to fit testing requirements as part of compliance rules.- Ensure proper documentation and charting through the EPIC system.- Compliance with flu vaccination requirements, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons.- Maintain professionalism and adapt to hospital policies, including flexibility in floating within the scope, though this particular position does not require floating.- Position accepts first-time job seekers and local candidates within specified guidelines.
