Electrician

to join our Facilities team! In this role you will perform the installation, maintenance, and repairs of a variety of electrical equipment. As the

Electrician , you will also perform heavy, physical work, and operate a variety of hand and power tools.

Job Responsibilities:Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipmentFollows electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specificationsUses hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipmentInstalls power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipmentConnects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipmentDiagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipmentReplaces damaged or broken wires and cablesTests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance staffAssist with plan and layout of wiring with engineering DepartmentProgram, calibrate and configure Digital Temperature ControllersTroubleshoot and repair SCR power controllersDocument daily work accountabilities and parts usageFollows all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environmentWhat we need from you:Associates Degree (AS) or equivalent from a two year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceA valid Journeyman's license is required, Master Electrician License preferredAbility to trouble shoot faulty electronic components and systemsAbility to work independentlyWorking knowledge of electrical systems and electrical safetyAvailable for rotation of call-in coverage scheduleIndustrial electrical/controls/mechanical maintenance experienceWiring and troubleshooting experience with control panels, electric motors, electrical ovens and typical industrial equipment desired; preferredPrevious manufacturing experience; preferredLean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement; preferredWhat you'll get from us:16 ETO days12 paid holidays (including Winter Closure!)Medical / Dental / Vision effective on day of hire401k Company MatchTuition Reimbursement$1000 Sign-On Bonus
