This team manages all front-end development for the consumer-facing apps that house Disney’s portfolio of brands. The list of platforms this team manages includes: iOS & Android; Smart TVs like Samsung, LG, Chromecast, Roku, & Amazon; game consoles like Xbox and PlayStation; and desktop & mobile web browsers.Job Summary:The News, Entertainment, and Studios Mobile and Living Room Devices team responsible for building and supporting ABC News, Marvel Unlimited, and other applications is seeking a Lead iOS Software Engineer to join their platform team. This is a great opportunity to work on a platform that powers and enables ABC News, a leading news product, on its mission to inform and inspire as well as other Disney brands. Basic Qualifications:Minimum 7+ years of related work experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Expert ​knowledge​ ​of​ ​Swift,​​ ​Apple​ ​Frameworks, and the Xcode ecosystemExperience leading a team, including delegating responsibility and balancing competing priorities.Experience​ ​integrating​ ​with​ ​backend​ ​systems​, ​web​ ​services, and third-party software.Hold high standards of quality for both the codebases you contribute to and the applications you build.A growth mindset towards learning, experience mentoring others, and a desire to give and receive feedback.Experience composing and presenting thoughtful and implementable solutions to a variety of stakeholders (technical and non-technical).The hiring range for this position in Raleigh, NC is $142,106 to $190,630 per year, in Los Angeles, CA is $149,240 to $200,200 per year, in New York, NY & Seattle, WA is $156,292 to $209,660 per year and in San Francisco, CA is $163,426 to $219,230 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
