• Field Service Technician
• Cuyahoga Falls
• $30/hour based on experience
• Working Monday-Friday from 730am -4pm, with varied hours when travelling
• Direct Hire opportunity

The Field Service Technician provides technical service and support to customers in the field, as well as internally with the company, playing a critical role in providing customer satisfaction and generating additional sales opportunities.

• Installation, start-up and repair of Molding Equipment at the customer location
• Performs preventive maintenance on the same equipment.
• Provides system training to customers on maintenance, operation, and programming as required.
• Completes all job-related paperwork and submits to the Service Administrator/Supervisor on a weekly basis.
• Maintains daily communication with supervisor/Service Administrator and/or customer service reps and provides appropriate updates on job-related progress and schedule.
• Make effective use of downtime during periods in the office. This may include customer phone support and other internal projects.
• Identify improvements/bugs in equipment design and software and report appropriately to engineering/customer service.
• Always maintains a clean and professional attitude and appearance.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships within the organization companywide to develop a dedicated support network.
• Accomplish tasks as directed by management.
• Travel represents 50% to 70% of total time.

• 2 or more years' experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of Industrial equipment
• Good knowledge of hydraulics and controls including a working knowledge of PLCs
• Effective communication and computer skills required.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time, sometimes overnight
• Ability to lift and carry heavy parts.
