Key Responsibilities:

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Senior Director of RGM for our Mainstream Chilled Business covering Tropicana, Dole and Twister. This senior role is one of four reporting directly to the VP of Portfolio Strategy, Tropicana North America. It is constructed to “dual hat,” taking point as an RGM business partner to the GM for one of three core businesses in North America (Orange Juice/Juice Drinks; Canada/Partner Brands, i.e. Tazo, Pure Leaf and Starbucks; or Naked/Premium CSD/Ambient) while also acting as Subject Matter Expert on a specific element of RGM (e.g., Pricing Strategy, Trade Architecture, Promo efficiency/effectiveness, Mix management and occasion-based PPA).

Key relationships in addition to the VP of Portfolio Strategy include:

North American GMs: Canada/Partner brands; Orange Juice/Juice Drinks; Naked/PCSD/Ambient and brand and innovation leaders reporting into them

Brand Finance Business partners

Brand Analytics partners

Commercial Planning & Execution partners

Sales partners

Additional Responsibilities:

Pricing lead for the RGM team monitoring CPI and macroeconomic forces to drive our multi-year pricing glidepath.

Rolls up the total RGM plan inclusive of all levers of RGM across all brands for a holistic view.

Leveraging insights from brand analytics, finance and category and channel development to create a robust multi-year occasion based RGM plan.

Mining competitive insights to determine competitive RGM strategies and implications for TBG brands.

Use insights to reset portfolio investment strategy in the context of commercial growth and profit objectives.

Working closely with Finance to monitor Net Revenue and GP per case trends.

Support RGM portions of annual brand planning process as directed by GM and VP of Portfolio Strategy.

Support pack price strategy and alignment on innovation, customer exclusives or in and outs.

Serve on projects targeting particular improvement opportunities, leveraging SME status, as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.

Practical experience in some combination of key account sales, sales strategy, sales finance, trade administration and/or revenue growth management.

Familiar with the core tenets of revenue growth management and its performance metrics.

Strong knowledge of practical basis what it takes to execute RGM strategies in the field.

Ability to build strong partnerships with account leads.

Must be located in Chicago, IL or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL for the duration of employment.

Minimum of 5 years experience in RGM in CPG space.

Legally authorized to work in the country to which you are applying without requiring sponsorship or additional work permits now or in the future.
