Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Senior Accountant to support the North America business as part of the Global Controllership Team.The Sr. Accountant, Corporate Accounting will be responsible for the consolidation of financial results for North America and provide variance analytics for results (YOY, QOQ). Reporting to the Sr. Manager of North America Accounting, they will help build out account reconciliations and key processes post a new system go-live. They will prepare financial reports to meet the requirements of our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements, inclusive of helping with the annual financial statements. They will provide oversight for North American financial reporting ensuring it meets the needs of the organization and complies with all applicable regulations. The Sr. Accountant will own various aspects of financial, technical accounting and financial reporting. Responsible for managing and optimizing financial processes across Supply Chain Finance, Treasury, RTR and Tax functions to ensure efficient and strategic financial operations.Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a candidate based in Chicago, Illinois for this hybrid role.Additional Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reportsPerform month end close activities for certain corporate accounting functionsPerform monthly consolidation activities such as monitoring for appropriate intercompany activities and preparing monthly account reconciliationsSupport external auditStay abreast of changes in technical accounting and reporting requirementsSupport special projects as needed.Ability to structure and prioritize tasks, and focus efforts in an ambiguous work environment.Demonstrated ability to implement short and long-term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation.Functional Skills:

US GAAP and Financial ReportingSAP/S4 Hana/Group ReportingBPO service provider managementKnowledge of General accounting, Intercompany accounting, and ConsolidationExperience in management reporting and US GAAP financial statementsWorking knowledge of using reporting technologies like Analysis for Office and Power BIRequirements:

Bachelor's degree in AccountingCertified Public Accountant License, preferred3+ years of relevant professional experienceExperience in public accounting or working with CPG or global, matrixed manufacturing organization is a plus.Hands on, collaborative, proactive, transparent, urgent and able to deal with ambiguity.Strong understanding of US GAAP and reporting requirements including internal controls and reporting skillsOther Competencies/Skills:
