Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Record-to-Report (RTR) Global Process Accounting Manager to support the RTR process and be part of the Global Business Services RTR team which serves as a center of excellence and expertise for all RTR activities in strong collaboration with our 3rd party business process outsource (BPO) provider to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met.This role is required to help execute and oversee the General accounting, Inventory accounting, Intercompany accounting, key account reconciliation functions, and Fixed Assets function as well as statutory and other management reporting during and post period closing. Ability to navigate through various reporting requirements, prioritize, identify data sources and leverage reporting platforms to generate them is essential.Additionally, partner with stakeholders and end users to gather, analyze and document requirements to enable translation into technical specifications. This role is essential to help us to drive our transformation agenda with responsibility to oversee day to day operations and to ensure appropriate levels of business control and process compliance through reporting and systems enhancements.Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Accounting Manager possesses excellent process, analytical and technical skills that are used to develop solutions to meet customer needs, increase efficiency and optimization. We are seeking a candidate based in Chicago, Illinois or remote.The key accountabilities include:

Oversee training and development of 2+ staffSupport period close actives / monitoring controls that occur pre / post period closeEvaluate and monitor internal and outsourced process controls to ensure SOX compliance.Act as liaison between outsourced provider and Tropicana to ensure outsourced processes are current and issues or disputed amounts are resolved satisfactorily and in a timely manner.Understand integrated business processes; identify and recognize global integration implications.Spot and manage Service levels and key performance indicators for agreed objectivesProvide resolution for process escalations and inquiries within the RTR delivery model.Execute projects and engage in initiatives varying in scope and size. Projects may be cross-functional and could include, but are not limited to, process reviews to identify standardization, simplification or automation opportunities, acquisition integration support, process documentation and design, support for tool upgrades and optimization.Actively respond to information requests from various key partners and stakeholders, including Finance, Treasury, Procurement, Supply Chain, Internal Audit and regional Controllers.Stay abreast of industry best practices and champion the development of automations and/or process improvements.Support special projects as needed.Ability to structure and prioritize tasks, and focus efforts in an ambiguous work environment.Demonstrated ability to implement short and long-term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation.Functional Skills

SAP/S4 HanaBlacklineBPO service provider managementKnowledge of General accounting, Inventory accounting, Fixed Assets accounting, Intercompany accounting and Key account reconciliationsExperience in month-end, statutory and other management reporting during and post period closingWorking knowledge of using reporting technologies like Power BI, Watch, and Looker is an added advantage.Qualifications and Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, and/or Accounting>6 years of relevant professional experienceExperience on working with an offshore BPO provider a plusExperience with CPG or global, matrixed manufacturing organization is a plus.Hands on, collaborative, proactive, transparent, urgent and able to deal with ambiguity.Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements including internal controls and reporting skills.Other Competencies/Skills
