As a Principal Architect, you will be partnering with Client Managers to provide the technical Pre-Sales work for our Fortune 500 customers across all verticals. What will you be doing?

As a Principal Architect you will work throughout the sales lifecycle, from opportunity creation and discovery, presales and service delivery hand-off, managing the development of complex technical solutions while identifying opportunities for new business. The Principal Architect will focus on driving enterprise level architectural strategies that will help customers achieve their business goals and be responsible for setting and communicating the long-term joint vision to both executives within accounts as well as internal teams. You will network with industry leaders, internal sales and client leadership, current clients, and potential clients to understand and communicate current and future trends. You will also provide continuous leadership and mentorship for consulting systems engineers in the team.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

Develop and drive strategic and enterprise solutions in the following technical domains: Network, cloud and security transformations, Software defined data center, data engineering and analytics as well as AIOps platforms.

Prepare internal and customer facing sales/technical presentations that help make complex designs and concepts simple and easy to follow.

Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders and executives within accounts.

Provide Thought Leadership within accounts.

Drive revenue with existing and net new clients leveraging the entire WWT portfolio.

Build strategic relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).

Proactively find new opportunities within existing customer base.

May perform other duties as assigned by the Client Director.

10+ years' experience in successful consultative selling and/or account development of Commercial Enterprise accounts.

Experience working with senior business partners and C-level clients identifying trends, communicating competitive actions and presenting strategic plans.

Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts.

Possesses aptitude to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications.

Demonstrable experience in developing strategic technical plans.

Ability to excel at understanding and driving solutions centered on primary client needs.

Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.

Visionary leadership and the ability to motivate a team.

Strong financial and business acumen with understanding of a multi-faceted business operation.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, and rapidly changing priorities.

Ability to approach customer and sales requests with a proactive and consultative manner; listen and understand user requests and needs and effectively deliver.

Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, and manage programs and multiple projects.

Ability to Travel up to 25%.

High level knowledge of automation platforms and tools (Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Azure Resource Manager, Ansible, Chef, etc.).
